Taylor funeral home of Louisville announces the death of Ms. Natalie Sherrod Sills, age 43 of Brooklet, Georgia, who died Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home.

A celebration of life service will be announced after the holidays.

Natalie was born in Augusta on August 12, 1982. She was a 2000 graduate of Swainsboro High School and then went to Swainsboro Tech and graduated with an associate’s degree in nursing. She previously worked at the Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro. When in high school, Natalie was very active in Georgia 4-H in Emanuel County and lived her life by what 4-H means: Head: Clear thinking, decision-making, and knowledge. Heart: Greater loyalty, caring, and compassion. Hands: Larger service, helping others, and practical skills. Health: Better living, physical and mental well-being.

Natalie was preceded in death by her sister, Rachael Julia Sherrod Akridge, nephew Jimmy Akridge, paternal grandparents, John Edward Sherrod and Betty Jean Denton, maternal grandparents, Cecil Davis and Mary Julia Davis, and longtime friend, Janet Clifton. She is survived by her mother, Cynthia Davis of Brooklet, her father, Don (Audrey) Sherrod of Midville, nieces, Julianna Akridge, Rebecca Akridge, and Julianna (fiancé Gary) nephew, Parker Harrill, aunt, Linda Davis (Mark) Bryant, great nephew, Mitchell Purvis, great niece, Anna Purvis, and many other lifelong friends.
