Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Mary Usry Kitchens, age 77 of Warren Street, Gibson who died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the Jordan Chapel Church of God with Rev. David O. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ross Rabun, Matt Milburn, Dean Kitchens, Austin Usry, Willie Overstreet, Jerrold Sammons, Scott Usry and Mark Wells.
A native of Glascock County, Mary was a daughter of the late Willie B. & Mamie L. Whitehead Wells. She was a transit bus driver for the Glascock County Board of Commissioners and a member of Jordan Chapel Church of God for many years.
Mrs. Kitchens was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Paul Usry of 52 years, and Lewis Kitchens of 3 years, brothers; George and James Wells, and sister; Doris Marsh and is survived by sons; William Darrell Usry (Kathy) and Timothy Paul Usry (Angie) of Gibson, stepchildren; Lisa Usry and Kim Kitchens (Diane) of Gibson, Grandchildren: Kacey & Jason Williford, Stacey Usry, Russ & Samantha Usry, Jason & Michelle Usry, Autumn & Matt Milburn, Austin & Morgan Usry, Kip & Holley Kitchens, Kimberly & Travis Whitaker, Slayton Kitchens, Caleb Kitchens and Justin Hadden, 10 great grandchildren, brothers; Lewis Wells of Gibson and John Willie Wells of Alma, Georgia, sisters; Florrie Arrington of Twin Falls, Idaho and Rendie Kent of Collinsville, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews.
The Kitchens family will receive friend's 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
