Maggie Cheeks Brown

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Maggie Inez Cheeks Brown, age 86 of Quaker Road Keysville, Georgia, who died Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015 in the Jefferson Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Oliver & Rev.    Craig Hutto officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Joe Cheeks, Pete Southerland, Chuck Stevens, Dennis Cheeks, Kenneth Cheeks, Brandon Josey, Jake Johnson and Tom Smith.

A native of Washington County, GA, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Eather and Tina Evelyn Rushing Cheeks. She was a retired seamstress from Burke Manufacturing and a member of Friendship Methodist Church in Waynesboro, GA.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Willie Wilkins and Earl W. Brown, and brother; John Thomas Cheeks, and is survived by brothers; Eugene and Lucile Cheeks of Keysville and Hubert and Rita Cheeks of Wadley, nieces; Evelyn and Bob Chisam, Sue and Johnny Hudson, Brenda and Pete Southerland, Rachel and Chuck Stevens, nephews; Dennis & Lisa Cheeks, Kenneth & Lisa Cheeks, Joe and Barbara Cheeks.

The family will received friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
