Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Ms. Madelyn McKenzie, age 79 of Baldee Road, Bartow, Georgia, who died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the Parkers United Methodist Church, Bartow, with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Jefferson County, Madelyn was a daughter of the late Pete Arrington and Liza Ann Williford. She retired from Thermo King with over 30 years of service and was a member of Parkers United Methodist Church.
Madelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Ray McKenzie; brothers, Estes Leroy Davis and Lloyd Davis; sister, Mary Davis and is survived by sons, Wiley Chance of Swainsboro, Jerry Chance and Richard Kelnhofer of Bartow; Jo Jo and Margaret Mckenzie of Bartow and Willis and Janie McKenzie of Bartow; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
The McKenzie family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 21, 2017 in the funeral home.
