Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mrs. Linda Michell Schaefer who died Saturday January 29, 2022, at her residence.

A time of remembrance will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday in the Sheppard memorial chapel of Taylor funeral Home on Gibson.

A native of Augusta Michell was the daughter of Christopher David Denton and Shelia Holbrook Johnson she had lived in Gibson for the last 15 years and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Schaefer is predeceased by her grandparents Mary and Thomas Denton and Guy and Edith Holbrook.

She is survived by her husband Kelly Gene Schaefer of Gibson, her father Chris Denton of Gibson and her mother Sheila Holbrook Johnson of Gibson, 2 daughters, Destiny Schaefer and Ava Schaefer of Gibson, 2 grandsons, Lucas Schaefer of Gibson and Brayden Reese of Gibson, Grandmother Emma Barnhouse of Newport, TN, 5 sisters Kimberly Weaver of NC, Sonya Carpenter of WV, Amber Jeffers of Newport, TN, Anna Deal of Warrenton and Holli Denton of Gibson, 1 brother Christopher Denton of Gibson and 18 nieces and nephews.
