Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Linda E. Poole, age 74 of Louisville, who died Sunday, November 4, 2018 in University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jerry Taylor and Rev. Edward Salter officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Grayland Poole, Jace Poole, David Weathers, Johnny Hadden, Alex Holt and Tommy Cowart.

Mrs. Linda was a native of Jefferson County and was a daughter of the late Harrison Story and Ethel Faglier Story. She was employed by C&O Auto Repair and was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Mrs. Poole was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Ronnie Story, H.T. Story and Doyle Story, sisters; Edna Bragg, Janice Davis and Dolly Fountain, and is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles Poole, of Louisville, sons and daughter in law; Edward & Teresa Salter of Louisville, and Otis Holt Jr. of Thomson, step daughter and son in law, Charlene & David Weathers of Martinez, step son and daughter in law, Grayland & Melanie Poole, of Evans, brother, Wayne Story, of Bartow, sisters and brothers in law; Virginia & Marian Utley of Gough, Barbara Cowart, of Davisboro, Pat & Johnny Hadden Sr. of Louisville, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

The Poole family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a church or charity of the donor's choice.

Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Louisville will be in charge of arrangements.
