Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Linda Mae Dunn Johnson, age 69, of Tennille who died Friday evening July 16, 2021, at her residence after a lengthy illness with her family by her side.

Funeral service will be held graveside 11:00 AM Tuesday July 20, 2021, in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Williford officiating.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Warren County a daughter of the late Richard Dunn & Laura Landrum Dunn. She graduated from Glascock County High School in 1970 and Sandersville Tech with a degree in accounting. Linda retired from Childre Ford in Sandersville after several years of service as a bookkeeper. She was a long-time member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Linda loved spending time in her garden especially in her flower beds and loved sewing, but her greatest pastime was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Hazel Tucker, brothers, James Dunn, & Benny Dunn and is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Billy Johnson, of Tennille, son Jeffery Brian Johnson, of Tennille, sister, Mary Meeks of Tennille, & Sarah McDonald of Gibson, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services Tuesday at Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
