Mr. Lewis Paul, age 69, of River Road, Wadley, died Monday, December 12, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00PM Wednesday in the Coleman's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Patricia Holbert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Paul was a native of Wadley and a son of the late J.L. & Cora Dasher Paul. He was the owner and operator of Lewis Paul Trucking in Wadley and was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Doyle Paul, Gerald Paul, and C.S. Paul; sister: Cornelia Daniels; and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Ruth Paul of Wadley; son: James Lewis Paul and his wife Stacie of Wadley; daughter: Beverly Paul Greene and her husband Stacy of Gibson; brother: Edward Paul of Millen; sisters: Imogene Walberg of Wadley, Catherine Brown of Wadley, Rebecca P. Hall of Wrightsville; 4 grandchildren: Casey Ford, Samantha Greene, Macie Brassell, and Jaymie Paul; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
