T aylor funeral home of Louisville announces the deaths and funeral services of Mr. Larry W. Wood age 65 of Kite who died Saturday morning December 23, at his home.

A native of Jacksonville, FL., Larry was a son of the late Herschel and Margaret Wood. He was raised in Wadley and graduated from Wadley High School at the age of 16. He had worked at Louisville Pants Factory, Wadley Shirt factory, and Wrightsville Buckeye as a Sewing Machine Mechanic. Larry was a great man, best Daddy ever, and his greatest pastime was spending time with his family.

Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Lynne Wood, son, Michael Wood, and Megan, daughter Kelly Wood and Matthew Conner, all or Kite, brother Barry Wood and Peggy of Wadley, grandchildren Kyleigh Conner, Michael Wood Jr., Skylar Wood, McKenzie Wood, Alison Fuller, Amber Wood, Karmen Wood, and Braden Wood.

The Wood Family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM Tuesday December 26, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville.
