Taylor Funeral Home announces the death and Mr. Larry Paul Cobb, age 82, loving husband of Sylvia Cobb for 63 years, entered heaven and the presence of his Lord, November 6, 2018.

A Praise & Worship Celebration will be held 2:00 PM, November 10, 2018 at United Faith Ministries, 15096 GA HWY 231 South, Davisboro, Georgia 31018.

Larry Cobb was a native of Jefferson county, born at home on Paul Cobb Road, Bartow, GA. He was the only son of the late Paul and Nina Cobb and is survived by his only sibling, Joy Jackson. He was a 1954 graduate of Louisville Academy. His employment included Burns Tool Company and Jefferson County Road Department, but he was better known as a farmer, hunter, and fisherman.

Larry was a founding member of United Faith Ministries and his love for his Lord was extended to all his family, friends, and neighbors.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Cobb, his sister and brother in law, Joy & Henry Jackson, daughters and son in law; Kathy Cobb, Teresa & Bill Snider, Paula Cobb, son and daughter in law Larry (Butch) & Lynn Cobb, Jr.; Ten grandchildren: Jeanne Hall, Kimberly O'Neal, Charlotte Snider Brady, William (Duke) Snider, Brian Elmquist, Richard Elmquist, Rebecca Elmquist, Paul Cobb, Katelyn Cobb, and Evan Cobb and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM, prior to the Celebration at United Faith Ministries.

The family requests in lieu of flowers and food that memorials be made to United Faith Ministries, 15096 GA Hwy 231 South, Davisboro, Georgia 31018 and/or Jefferson County Hospital, 1067 Peachtree Street, Louisville, Georgia 30434.
