Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Judy Laster McDonald, age 76, of Gibson who died Tuesday morning November 12, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Bethel Community Church in Gibson with Rev. Ed Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Harris, Alex Gray, Gage Gray, Braxton LeFevre, Cale Thomaston, and Larry Tucker.

A native of Glascock County, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of Lewis and Esther Marsh Laster. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including family vacations to the beach and girls' casino trips. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of Bethel Community Church.

Mrs. McDonald is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband William Wayne McDonald; daughters: Shannon LeFevre of Gibson and Regina Harris (David) of Sandersville; granddaughters: Christin Ford (Joshua) and Erin Jackson (Cole); grandson: Braxton LeFevre; great-granddaughters; Mattie Ford and Blair Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
