Joyce R. Phillips

Mrs. Joyce R. Phillips, age 96, of Pond View Road Evans, Georgia died Thursday morning October 3, 2013, in the Trinity Hospital in Augusta.
Graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 5, in the Louisville City Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Cockrel officiating. Pallbearers will be Willis Toulson, Paul Livesay, Bill Toulson, Bill Easterlin, Dennis Livesay, and Billy Lamb.
Mrs. Phillips was a native of Florida, but had lived in Louisville for many years before moving to Evans. She retired after many years of service as vice-president of First National Bank of Louisville, now Queensborough National Bank, and was a member of The Sanctuary of Augusta.
Joyce was preceded in death by two husbands, C. Worth Jones and Allen Phillips and a son, Charles Worth Jones, Jr.; and is survived by daughter and son-in-law Leina J. & Vince Tedhams of Evans; 3 grandchildren, William Toulson, Joy Livesay, and Bea Cliatt; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday at the cemetery.
