Joyce (Kelley) Meeker

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Joyce Kelley Meeker, age 57 of Mitchell, Georgia who died Sunday evening, October 23, 2016 in the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Mt. Zion Congregational United Methodist Church, Mitchell with Rev. Don Black officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Chad Arrington, Jason Arrington, Scott Kelley, Jeremy Kelley, Robbie Kelley and Anthony Kelley.
A native of Jefferson County, Mrs. Joyce is the daughter of James R. Kelley and Hazel Reese Kelley of Mitchell. She had been a secretary at Ft. Gordon before retiring.
Mrs. Meeker is survived by her parents; son, Adam Meeker of Indiana; sisters, Terry Arrington of Mitchell and Sherry McKinnon of Dunn, North Carolina; brother, Chris Kelley of Mitchell; 2 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
The Meeker family will receive friends Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
