Mrs. Joyce Denton Griffith, age 57 of West Elam Church Road Warrenton, GA died Thursday November 22, 2012 at her residence.
Private services will be held Sunday November 25, 2012 for the family.
Joyce was the daughter of the late Jerome Denton and Mrs. Jeanette Ruth Goins, She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Griffith was preceded in death by her father, a son, Ronald Jamieson Griffith, and a grandson, Tristan Blain Davis, and is survived by daughter, Vivian Michelle "Shelley" (Billy) Stewart of Gibson, mother, Jeanette Ruth Goins of Washington, GA, grandchildren, Dylan Jamieson Stewart, Blake McGregor Griffith, and Ashli Ruth Griffith all of Gibson, brother Jerome Gerald (Carol) Denton, of Gibson, sister, Jacqueline Jackie (Paul) Justis of Fla., favorite uncle Don Wiggins of Warrenton, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dog, Sparky.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday November 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
Sheppard Funeral Home, 57 College Place, Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
