Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Mr. Joseph Thomas "Joe" Shipley age 70 of Gibson who died February 5, 2023, at his residence.

Services to celebrate Joe's life will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Gibson.

A native of Augusta, Joe was a son of the late Robert Franklin Shipley and Rachel James Shipley.

Joe is predeceased by his parents and is survived by his brothers Donnie Shipley of Hepzibah, James Shipley of Gibson, Bobby Shipley of North Augusta, and Mike Shipley of Oklahoma. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the services, Wednesday at the funeral home.
