Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mr. Joseph Theron "Joe" Faglier, age 84 of Bellsprings Road, who died Saturday afternoon May 9, 2015.
Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 16, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wrens City Cemetery.
A native of Avera, Mr. Faglier was the son of the late George Cecil & Theola Pittman Faglier. He was raised in Wrens and was a self-employed mechanic, operating several service stations in Augusta, Thomson, & Warrenton. Joe owned & operated Joe's Service Station & Grocery in Dearing until 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Elizabeth Usry Faglier and is survived by daughter; Patty Davis of Avera, sister; Barbara Woodwark of Tuscaloosa, AL, brother; Harvey Faglier of Statesboro, granddaughters; Tonya Ray of Thorsby, AL, Laura Jones of Thomson, grandson; Ronnie "Bubba" Welch of Dearing, great grandchildren; Fisher Jones, Macy Jones, Montana Jones, Taylor Ray & Lanny Ray, lots of nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 15, at the home of Patty Davis, 1710 Hadden Pond Road, Avera.
