Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. Johnny J. Deriso, age 62 of Moxley who died Tuesday evening October 25, 2022 at his residence.

In keeping with Johnny's wishes there will be no services held.

Johnny was born in Swainsboro on September 6, 1960 to the late Walter Brice Deriso, Sr. and Mildred Sheppard Deriso. He was a lifelong resident of Moxley and retired from Truflame after many years of service in sales. He was a long-time member of Moxley United Methodist Church.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Catherine Story and his brothers, Gary & Brice Deriso, Jr. He is survived by his long-time companion, Tracy Raines of Moxley, daughters Ashleigh Syms (Jonathan) of North Augusta and Whitney Tidwell (Mike) of Augusta, and stepdaughter Autumn Raines (Kenny) of Bartow. He has two grandsons Bryce & Ryan Syms of North Augusta and three granddaughters Savanna Tidwell of Augusta and Aaliyah & Hannah Raines of Bartow. He is also survived by his brother Ernest "Skeet" Deriso (Annie Ruth) of Moxley and sisters Gloria Ellison of Waynesboro and Martha Lamb (Tom) of North Augusta, along with many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends he loved dearly.
