Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. John D. Schroder, 82, of Bartow, who died Monday morning, February 12, 2024.

A Celebration of his life will be held later and will be announced.

A native of Lansing, Michigan, John was the son of Frederick Hubble Schroder and Violet Gault Schroder.  He was a retired truck driver and member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Bartow.

Mr. Schroder was preceded in death by his parents, wife Anna Schroder and a daughter Debra Rhodes and is survived by his daughters Amy (Daniel) Mays of Lynchburg, VA, Cheryl (Dennis) Curey of Flint, MI, and Susan (Bill) Bradley of Flint, MI, sons Justin Schroder of Lynchburg, Va, and Johnny Schroder of Flint, MI, 25 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
