Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of  Mr. Joseph Benjamin "Joe" Swint, age 62, of Hobbs Road, Stapleton, who died Saturday evening, October 18, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in the Taylor Funeral Home, Gibson. Burial will follow in the family lot in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Warrenton, Mr. Swint was a son of the late Abraham and Lucil McCorckle Swint. He was an auto mechanic for 35 years and recently retired from C & C Tire in Thomson and was of the Baptist faith.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Sinilou Skelton and brother; Bill Swint  and is survived by his loving wife; Agnes Louise Gay Swint of Stapleton, Step-daughter; Debbie Anderson of Gibson,  Step-son Freddie & Tammy Turner of Gibson, 11 grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The Swint family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2014, at the funeral home.
