Mr. James Patrick "Jimmy" Black, age 35 of Harper Street Gibson, Georgia died Sunday afternoon December 29, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 2, in the Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Bishop David Carlson and Bishop Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Branch Cemetery in Edgehill. Pallbearers will be Dennis Robinson, David Black, Mark Walling, William Walling, Gene Hockenbury, Clay Brod, Bobby Snider & Erne Marrs.
Born July 26, 1978, Jimmy was the son of the late Brenda Lou Taylor Black & Charles Lindbergh Black, Jr. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Harlem. He graduated Thomson high school in 1998 and worked as a property manager.
Jimmy is survived by his Father, sister Amanda L Black of Gibson, grandmother Mattie Black of Gibson, uncle David (Denise) Black of Lilburn, and aunt Temple (Mark) Walling of Jacksonville, FL.
The Black family will receive friends 12:00 to 2:00 PM Thursday before the service at the funeral home.
