Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Ms. Jerolene S. Josey, age 76 of Highway 24 West, Bartow, who died Monday August 20, 2018 at her residence after an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 25, in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scotty Hattaway, Rev. Richard Stavely and Mrs. Jean Reese officiating.
Jerolene was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Calvin Spear and Cora Lee Morgan Spear. She served as a para-pro at Louisville Academy for 25 years and attended Cross Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; Flora Spear and Babaran Spear, father of her children, Jerry Josey, and is survived by daughters; Renea & Joe Oglesby of Waynesboro, Tina Josey Coleman of Bartow, sister, Marilyn & Michael Hillman of Cumming, grandchildren; Grant & Charlene Oglesby, Maygan Oglesby, Ashlee Coleman, Bailie Coleman, Colby Coleman, Destini Coleman, great grandchild, Gracelyn Jentry Oglesby, nephew, Scotty Hattaway, niece, Amanda Snellgrove, her beloved furry companions Chloe, Bella & Penny, many neighbors and friends.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Louisville will be in charge of arrangements.
