Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Ms. Jennifer Lee Chalker age 50 of East Main Street in Gibson who died Saturday morning October 25, 2025.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Monday October 27, 2025, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Rev. Ed Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Community Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Whittaker, Gregg Kelley, Scott Kelley, Chris Kelley, Robbie Kelley and Eddie Kelley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday.

Jennifer was a native of Gibson, a daughter of the late Jacky Ray Chalker and Mrs. Eva Kelley Chalker. She was a jack of all trades who loved wood working, working with flowers and could be found fishing anytime she had the chance to. She had worked at Scotts Place as a waitress. But her greatest pastime was spending time with her family.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her daughter, Haley Chalker of Gibson, her mother, Eva Chalker, of Gibson, sister, Kelly Dooley of Augusta, brother Douglas Chalker of Gibson, and one niece, Lauren Suarez (Sidney) of Kernersville, NC., great niece, Lucia Suarez, of Kernersville, NC.,  several cousins and lifelong friends.
