Jennie (Braddock) Chalker

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Jennie Braddock Chalker, age 76 of 6087 Fountain Drive, Macon, who died Wednesday morning, August 27, 2014 at Pine Pointe Hospice, Macon, GA.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 29 in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Mr. Mitchell McGraw officiating.

A native of Grange and a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Mrs. Chalker was a daughter of the late Willie Harrison and Vonie Johnson Braddock. She was a driver for the Jefferson County Transit and a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Bartow, GA.

Jennie is preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Sheila Price, sister; Helen Poole, brothers; W. J. Braddock and Pleas Braddock and is survived by daughter; Shannon Stokes of Macon, sons; William Chalker and Harold Brinson of Ormond Beach, FL, grandsons; David Price, Jr. of Pinon, Arizona and Stephen Price of Gainesville, FL, granddaughters; Emma Herron, Caroline Stokes and Sadie Stokes of Macon, numerous nieces and nephews.

The Chalker family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Taylor Funeral Home, 401 W 8th Street, Louisville is in charge of arrangements.
