Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Jane Raines Wimberly, age 85 of Old Highway 1 Wadley, GA, who died Wednesday March 25, 2015 in the University Hospital Augusta.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 in the Wadley United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Moxley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be:  Shannon Hudson, Tommy New, Bryan Watkins, Larry Purvis, Rocky Gilmore, Brett Jones, Murray Gardner, Danny Moore and Gary Hutchins.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Mrs. Wimberly's nephews.

A native of Pinehill, GA, Jane was a daughter of the late John and Florence McNeely Raines.  She was a graduate of Wadley High School, worked as a supervisor for Oxford Industries for over 40 years, and was a member of the Wadley United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wimberly was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Charles Pollett, Jr., and Charles A. Wimberly, Sr., sister; Kathryn Cooper and brothers; John M. Raines, Jr., William Raines, Tilla Raines and Larry Raines and is survived by daughter; Cheryl P and Sam Arrington of Louisville, sons; Charles G. and JoAnna Pollett, III of Wadley and Charles and Roxanne Wimberly of Louisville, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and  a special friend; Stan R. Johnson of Wadley.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, March 28th at Taylor Funeral Home Louisville.
