Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mr. James M. Wade, Sr., age 62 of Gibson who died Sunday January 16, 2022, at Augusta University Medical Center.

A native of Augusta James was the son of Willie Lee Wade, Sr., and Louise Bell.  He spent much of his life in Gibson and was a self-employed painter

Mr. Wade is predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers Willie Wade, Jr., Soloman Wade, Billy Wade, and Jeff Mitchell Wade and 2 sisters Nancy Stewart and Doris Story. He is survived by 3 daughters Cindy Nichelson, Michelle Wade and Angel Wade, a son, James Matthew Wade Jr., 4 sisters Elizabeth Diane Wade, Blanche Pritchard, Annette Martin, and Esther Timmerman, 18 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
