Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mr. James Bradford "Jim" Johnson, age 60 of Clark Street Blythe, Georgia, who died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta.

There will be a private service held at a later date.

A native of Meridian, MS, James was a son of the late Frederick H. and Mabert Calk Johnson.  He had worked as a service manager at Pete Alewine Pools and Spa.

James was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother; Fredrick (Rick) Johnson, Jr., of Augusta, sister; Emily Johnson Walden of Avera, stepson; Coley & Ginny Duncan of Martinez, niece; Ginger Partin Smith of Blythe, nephews; Evan Partin of Beech Island, SC and Chase Walden of Avera, great nieces; Kennedy Smith and Kortni Smith both of Blythe.
