T aylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. John Thomas "Jack" Ryan, Jr., age 68, of Louisville, formerly of Berlin, NJ, and McVeytown, PA., who passed away Wednesday morning April 20, 2022, at Augusta University Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Ryan was born October 31, 1953, in Key West, FL, a son of the late John Ryan, Sr., and Jean Dooley Ryan. Jack was a retired maintenance mechanic at Eastern Regional High School, Fire Police for McVeytown Fire Department, security for Woodstock and Philadelphia Folk Fest, and served 18 years in the Air Force National Guard. After retirement Jack enjoyed volunteering, traveling with his wife, and attending NASCAR races. He was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church in Bartow where he touched the lives of many members in a short amount of time.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Peters Ryan whom he married June 3, 2010. His sons, Christopher Ryan and wife Marie of Berlin, NJ, James Ryan and wife Jeneen of Clinton, NJ, stepchildren, Jody Peters of Lewistown PA, Jamie Miller and husband Ron of Cape May Court House, NJ, April Vodopijei and husband Michael of Lewistown, PA, John Peters, and wife Brittney of McVeytown, PA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren that he cherished dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
