Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. James Buford "J.B."  Mixon, formerly of Louisville, who died Sunday, June 2, 2024, in Dublin.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 7 at 11:00 am in the Oaky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harry Hadden officiating.

Mr. Mixon was preceded in death by his parents, George Mixon & Lucille Harrell Mixon, he is survived by his daughter Luann Stone of Macon.

J. B. was employed by the Fina gas station in Louisville for 18 years.  He was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church, the American Legion Post 44 in Wrightsville and served his country in the Army, Second Air Borne.
