Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Mrs. Marjorie Hilda McCoy, age 91 of Hwy 102 East, Gibson who died January 8, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2026, in the Gibson Community Church, with the Rev. Kyle Downs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Crunkelton, Clay Crunkelton, Lane Crunkelton, Tyler Sams, Trey Crunkelton, and Matthew Crunkelton.
Mrs. McCoy was a native of Gibson, a daughter of the late Kyle Neal and Vivian Raley Neal. She graduated from Glascock County High School. Hilda worked as a nurse for the State of Georgia at the Richmond County Health Department for many years. She was a member of the Gibson Community Church.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, W.C. Crunkelton and Calvin McCoy, Sons: Lavaughn Crunkelton, Jeff Crunkelton and infant son Bruce, Sisters: Emily Buckner and Sybil Braswell, Brothers: Mickey Neal and Dan Neal. She is survived by her son Jack Crunkelton of Gibson, Grandchildren: Lisa Crunkelton Sams, Ken Crunkelton, Clay Crunkelton (Mendy), Lane Crunkelton and Ashley Crunkelton, Great-grandchildren: Tyler Sams, Kennedy Sams Tiner (Daniel), Trey Crunkelton (Macy), Jaedon Crunkelton, Kendal Crunkelton, Jordan Crunkelton, Matthew Crunkelton (Katelyn), Macie Crunkelton, Anna Crunkelton, Nathan Crunkelton, Shelby Crunkelton, Eli Carroll, McKinley Crunkelton, Great-great grandchildren: Jasper Crunkelton and Sawyer Crunkelton, daughter-in-law: Dianne Crunkelton, sisters: Frankie Jean Porter and Dianne ‘Cooter” Rabun (Glenn), sister-in-law Vesta Neal, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving and dedicated caregivers: Lynn and Doris Chalker, and the exceptional Afinnis Hospice Team: Mindy Prescott Wilcher, Krystle Prescott Holley, Sara Simmons, and Chico Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday January 10, at the funeral home.
