Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mr. Harry Wayne “Crow” McGraw, age 75 of Wadley, who died Tuesday evening March 17, 2026, at his home.
Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Louisville with Mr. Joe Cheeks and Rev. Chad Watkins officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Ollie Freeman, Jr., Johnny Hall, Bob Swan, David Lamb, Buddy Smith, Anthony Strowbridge, Larry “Bubba” McGraw, Tommy North, Mike Burns, and Don Sulki. He will be laid to rest in the family lot in Louisville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Crow was born in Louisville on November 14, 1950, a son of the late Lake McGraw & Anne Smith McGraw. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Carpenter’s Local Union #283 for 57 years. He loved working on the farm when he was able and sitting on his porch feeding the birds. Crow loved people and his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends for whom he would do anything.
Mr. McGraw was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Larry Lake McGraw, and is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Sarah Claxton McGraw of Wadley; son, Rodney Wayne McGraw of Louisville; sisters, Barbara Ann Evans (Reggie) of Soperton, Yvonne Sligar (John) of Grovetown, Kathy Shealy (Troy) of Augusta; granddaughter, Ansley McGraw; grandson, Logan McGraw; great-granddaughter, Ava Lake McGraw; nieces, Tracy McGraw, Diane Radford, Tanya Hickman, Teri Young (Kurt), Amanda Rice; nephews, Larry “Bubba” McGraw, Jr. (Pam), Bryan Usry, Barry Cooper, Adam Harris (Ashley); sisters-in-law, Margaret McGraw, Sara Claxton (Richard), and Patsy Claxton, several great-nieces and great-nephews, and many lifelong friends.
