Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services for Mr. Johnny Gregory (Greg) Chalker, age 44 of Highway 88, Sandersville who died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 after a brief illness in the Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Magnolia Baptist Church, Gibson, with Rev. Bobby Williford and Rev W.L. Currie officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jay Williford, Troy Williford, Ken Williford, David Kitchens, Eddie Usry and Steven Hilson.

A native of Sandersville, Greg was employed by Wayne's Paint & Body and a member of Kendall Heights Church of God in Sandersville. He is survived by his son Bryan Chalker, daughter Tiffany Chalker, father & step mother, J.C. & Kay Chalker of Sandersville, mother & step father, Wanda & W.L. Currie of East Dublin, sister Gail King (Tommy) and niece Ruby Gail King.

The Chalker family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 2nd at Taylor Funeral Home – Gibson.
