Gloria Giddens

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mrs. Gloria Giddens, age 87, of Highway 171 North, Louisville who died Friday morning, July 10, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Giddens was born October 18, 1938, in Davisboro, a daughter of the late Walter McNeely and Fannye Woodard McNeely. She had worked several years with her husband, Frank, in the family heating, air, & plumbing business as the bookkeeper and was a member of New Hope Methodist Church in Davisboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Tanya Annette Walden and Toni Lynn Walden; sister, Betty Watson; brothers, William and James McNeely and is survived by husband, Frank Giddens, of Louisville, 2 sons, Tommy and Lisa Walden, of Irvine, KY and Tracy and Robbie Walden, of Louisville, 2 granddaughters, Ashley Thacker and Lesley Riddel, 6 great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, 3826 Heards Bridge Road, Davisboro, GA 30810 with Rev. Richard Moye officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 on Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Doug Ligon, Noah McNeely, David Jenkins, Rodney Herbert, Tony Otis, and William Wells.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, C/O S. Williamson, 6428 Heards Bridge Road, Bartow, GA 30413.
