Geraldine (Chandler) Blair

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Martha Geraldine Chandler Blair, 94, of Gibson, who died Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Gibson Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Gibson with Rev. Tommy Harwell and Rev. Kyle Downs officiating. Burial will follow at the Gibson City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Blair, Jason Usry, Gregory Blair, Jason Williford, James Stephens, and Lee Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacky & Kay Downs, Sam & Charlene Griswold, John & Patricia Wood, and members of Mitchell Full Gospel Church.

Mrs. Blair was born in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Ander "Bud" Lester Chandler and Sally Moody Chandler. She retired after 25 years of working for Winter Garden Exchange as a fruit packer. She was a member of Mitchell Full Gospel Church and had attended Assembly of God in Winter Garden, FL.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter L. Blair, sisters Mildred Jackson, Lucille Williams, and Myrtle Floyd, brothers, Buck Chandler and Bill Chandler, and is survived in life by son, Larry Lee Blair (Allison) of Gibson, daughters Dianne Blair Murphy (Frank) and Linda Blair Wasden (Billy) both of Gibson, grandchildren, Shannon Stewart (Laura), Melissa King, Lee Blair (Bobbi), Kristie Stephens (James), Tracy Miller (Lee), Amy Kitchens, Jason Usry (Michelle), Kacey Williford (Jason), Stacey Usry, Charlie Folk (Katey) and Gregory Blair, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from at the funeral home.

The family will gather at the home of Billy and Linda Wasden, 1780 Old Mitchell Rd., Gibson, GA, 30810.
