Mr. Gary Keith Usry, age 52 of Hammond Usry Road Gibson, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 10 in the Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Harwell officiating. Mr. Usry will lie in state from 1:00 PM till time of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Logan, Terry Morrison, Lee Horton, Lee Griffin, Dwayne Lyons, Timmy Usry, Mark Phillips and Keith Wall. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Thiele Kaolin Company.
Mr. Usry is the son of JH and Miriam May Usry of Gibson. He was a 1979 graduate of Glascock County High School and was employed by Thiele Kaolin Company for 31 years as a shift foreman and rail car maintenance and was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church.
Gary is survived by his parents, loving wife of 30 years, Lisa Kitchens Usry of Gibson, son Austin and Morgan Usry of Stapleton, daughter Autumn and Matt Milburn of Thomson, sister Debbie and Bobby Odenweller of Gibson.
The Usry family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, at Taylor Funeral Home Gibson.
If so desired memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
