Miss. Frances Davis, age 81 of Wimberley Drive Martinez, died Monday November 26, 2012 in Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Johnson Methodist Church in Warrenton with Rev. Bryan Cockrell, and Rev. Earl Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arnold Wood, Esten Usry, Donald Kent, Charles Harper, Jeff Davis and Kenneth Norris.
Miss Davis was a native of Glascock County, was the daughter of the late J B (Buddy) and Essie Newsome Davis, she graduated from Glascock County School, and worked for Richmond County tax office, and retired from Fort Gordon Civil Service and was a member of the Sanctuary Church in Martinez.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Billy Davis and is survived by, sister Sara Braden of Lincolnton, brothers, Jack Davis of Augusta, and Bobby Davis of Warrenton, several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday November 27, at the funeral home.
