Evelyn (Hart) Cook

April 15, 1920 — February 18, 2014

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Evelyn Hart Cook, age 92 of Cook Street Louisville, who went to be with her Lord on February 18, 2014.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, in the Louisville First Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Witt officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Williams, Robby Brett, Larry Morgan, Kester Williford, William Rabun & Mike McDowell. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons and the Philathea Sunday school class of Louisville First Baptist Church.

A native of Jefferson County, Mrs. Cook was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church and the Philathea Sunday school class. She had worked for the Louisville Shirt factory for 19 years and retired from Thermo King after 18 years of service and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents Barney Wayne & Artie Manning Hart, her Husband of 66 years Mr. C.L. "Lawson" Cook and is survived by her son & daughter in-law Charlie L. & Kay Cook of Lawrenceville, 2 grandsons Barry & Christina Cook of Wichita Falls, TX and Brian & Tina Cook of Jefferson, 3 great grandsons Brannon, Tanner, & Austin and 1 great- granddaughter Erin.

Flowers will be accepted or those desiring may make contributions to the Louisville First Baptist Church 101 East 9th Street Louisville, GA 30434.

The Cook family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 20,  at the Funeral Home.
