Taylor funeral home of Louisville announces the death and funeral service of Ms. Eloise A. Belcher, age 85 of Highway 319 Bartow, Georgia, who died Saturday evening, May 20, 2017 in the Vero Health & Rehabilitation of Wadley.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Baxter officiating. Pallbearers will be: Clay Hodges, Chip Evans, Gary Belcher, Berry Belcher, L.C. Clark, Sr. and Chase Hodges. Burial will follow in the Bartow City Cemetery.

A native of Hart County, Georgia, Mrs. Belcher was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Dorothy Peeples. She retired after more than 20 years of services from B.C. Moore's department store in Louisville and attended St. Johns United Methodist Church.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Enon Alvin Belcher; sister, Betty Pardon and is survived by sons, Tony and Evey Belcher of Bartow, Don and Terry Belcher of Dallas, TX; brothers, Edward and Mary Peeples of Carnesville, Donald and Jewell Peeples of Macon; granddaughter, Toni Bell of Swainsboro; great granddaughters, Kyli Bell and Kati Kirkland; sister's in-law, Shirley Hodges and Vicki Belcher; several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family request, in lieu of flowers, please make memorial to Friends of Bartow City Cemetery, C/O Dwain Morris, 740 Church St., Bartow, GA 30413.

The Belcher family will receive friends Monday, May 22, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Louisville will be in charge of arrangements.
