VILLA RICA,

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Doylene Livesay Knight, 71, of Villa Rica who died Monday, June 1, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Rome, GA.

She was born in Louisville, GA on September 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Doyle Livesay and the late Virginia Grace Brown Livesay. She moved from Tucker to this area in 1972 and received her RN degree from Floyd Junior College. She began her nursing career in 1976 with Villa Rica City Hospital, now Tanner Medical Center, and retired in 2009 with thirty-three years of service. She enjoyed all puzzles, especially the word find puzzles, playing solitaire and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Drake Livesay and a sister, Linda Diane Livesay Lamb.

Survivors include her children, Debra Knight Beck of Villa Rica and Terrence Dorsey Knight and his wife, Janice Renee, of Rockmart; one brother, Dennis Paul Livesay of Louisville; grandchildren, Heather Nicole Mullican and her husband, Shay, of Murfreesboro, TN, William Andrew Beck of Villa Rica, Dylan Keith Beck of Decatur, Adrianna Grace Knight of Rockmart; step-grandsons, Jacob Rampley of Jacksonville, AL, Cameron Rampley, US Air Force stationed in England and Jordan Pope of Rockmart; great granddaughter, Cheyenne Rose Beck of Douglasville and an expected great grandson, Finch Alexander Mullican, due in September; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, June 3, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, June 4, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of the J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Pastor Shannon Lovelady officiating. A graveside service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday June 4, 2015 in Bartow City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the Graveside service.
