Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Dorothy B. Herron/Newbold age 83 of Augusta who died Saturday morning January 16, 2021 in the Pruitt Health of Old Capital in Louisville.

Private services will be held.

A native of Lodge, SC Dorothy was a daughter of the late Marion Barbaham & Elizabeth Benton. She retired after several years of service as a Real Estate Secretary in Martinez. She was a member of Augusta First Baptist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Mrs. Herron/Newbold was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry J. Newbold and is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Erica Herron, of Midville, son, Steve Herron of Bamberg, SC, Gary Herron of Bamberg, SC, daughter, Brenda Taylor of Edgefield, SC, stepdaughter, Ann Newbold, of Powder Springs, GA, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
