Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Dorothy Carol Brookshire, age 64 of Ranger, GA who died Sunday, February 12, 2017.
There will be a private ceremony to celebrate Dorothy's life held by her family at a later date.
A native of Duluth, GA, Mrs. Brookshire was the daughter of the late James Thomas Atwood and Dorothy Lorene Franklin Atwood. She graduated from Norcross High school and was a homemaker.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mark Atwood and James Thomas Atwood, Jr. and is survived by her husband, Edward E. Brookshire of Ranger; son, Brian Brookshire of Ranger; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Jason Teague of Fairmount, daughter, Angela Swinney of Ranger, 3 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
