Doris (Davis) Gaston

Mrs. Doris Davis Gaston, age 91 of Clarks Mill Road, Louisville died Sunday October 6, 2013.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday October 9, in the Louisville City Cemetery with Mr. Bill Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn Davis, Hayley Williford, Mark Bowles, Ray Williford, Steven Lyon and John Mole.
A native and lifelong resident of Louisville, Mrs. Gaston was the daughter of Wiley Gee Davis & Essie Irene Arrington Davis. She was a homemaker and had worked for the Louisville Drug Company for about 15 years and was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gaston was preceded in death by her parents, husband Horace C. Gaston, daughter Sarah Jane Gaston, brothers Oswald (Hobby) Davis & Lonnie Eugene Davis and is survived by daughters Dolores (Harold) Burnette of Woodstock, Sandra (Bill) McGahee of Louisville, Brenda (Gene) Lyon of Watkinsville, son Wayne (Chris) Gaston of Newport News, VA., brother W.G Davis, Jr. of Louisville, sisters Mary Elizabeth Bowles of Bartow, Sarah Katherine Bridges of Savannah and Martha Gay Strickland of Social Circle, extended family member Ora Morgan of Louisville, 6 grandchildren Wanda Williford, Allen McGahee, Cody Lyon, Steven Lyon, Katy Gaston & Jared Gaston, 6 great-grandchildren Felicia Williford, Hayley Williford, Tyler McGahee, Audrey Lyon, Hannah Lyon & Parker Lyon, 2 great great-grandchildren Brian Realy & Victoria Realy, several nieces, nephews & cousins.

The Gaston family will receive friend 1:00 till 2:00 PM Wednesday October 9th at the funeral home.
