Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of David Douglas Hamilton, age 63 of Milledgeville, who died October 15, 2021, in his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Cheeks officiating.

A native of Louisville, David was the son of the late Marshal Edward and Betty Sue Hill Hamilton. He was a truck driver for Arcilla Mining for 3 years. David was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church and Old Capitol Gun Club. He was an avid gun collector, enjoyed watching sports on tv and riding his motorcycle.

David is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patricia Hamilton, and survived by his brother, Russell Edward Hamilton (Dianne) of Midville, nieces, Julia Carissa Duncan (Adam) of Sandersville, Kimberly Suzanne Christian (Scott) of Midville, Shana Love of Virginia Beach, VA, stepchildren, Tiffany Green, Milledgeville and Kelly Leverett of Marietta, and several friends.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
