Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Danny Lamar Wilcher who died Wednesday morning, July 31, 2024, at his home in Louisville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday August 3, 2024, at the Josey Baptist Church with Mr. Joe Cheeks and Rev. Mike Jones officiating burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic graveside wrights. Pallbearers will be Kalvin Hodges, Chase Hodges, Troy Gearig, Clay Hodges, Bubba Bargeron, and Lamar Wilcher.  The family will receive friends Friday August 2, at the funeral home.

A native of Louisville, Danny was the son of the late William Harold Wilcher and Eula Lillian Rich Wilcher.  He was a graduate of Louisville High school and was a retired truck driver working with George Radford. Danny was a master Mason and member of Stone Wall Lodge #98 F&AM in Louisville where he had served as a past Worshipful Master several times.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sherry Wilche a brother, Harold Walterr "Butch" Wilcher and is survived by Eric (Laura) Eastmead of Davisboro, Steven Wilcher, of Wrightsville, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
