Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Clara Snider Lamb, 83, of Louisville, who died Friday June 21, 2019, in the Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, June 24, 2019 in the Louisville Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Cheeks, Rev. Walter Holmes and Rev. John Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be: Mitchell McGraw, William Hadden, Frankie Jones, Joel Lamb, David Irwin, Ryan Farris, Tommy New and Rick McFarland. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Louisville Academy Class of 1953. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery.

A native of Jefferson County, Mrs. Clara was born a daughter to the late Elton Snider and Maude Reagan Snider. She was a graduate of Louisville Academy and the owner of Backyard Greenhouse for 30 years. Clara was a member of the First Baptist Church of Louisville, Philathea Sunday School Class and the Women's Missionary Group.

Mrs. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and father of her children, Phillip Lamb Sr., longtime companion, Jack McGraw son in law, David McNeely, and is survived by her daughters and sons in law; Carol Jackson & Frank Jr., of Washington, Ann L. McNeely, of Louisville, Becky Epting & Ricky of Louisville, sons and daughters in law; Phillip "Buddy" Lamb & Jennifer, of Wadley, Bill Lamb & Katy, of Lincolnton, Alvey Lamb & Jennifer of Wrens, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lamb's Chapel Cemetery Fund in c/o Connie Upton PO Box 816, Wadley, Georgia 30477.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the funeral home.
