LOUISVILLE - Mrs. Christine Wilson Hanley, age 87, of 310 Highway 1 Bypass, died Tuesday afternoon September 18, 2012, in the Jefferson Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Friday, September 21, 2012, in the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hanley, a native of Jefferson County, was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary Sally Cooper Watkins. She was a waitress for Pansy's Restaurant for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Louisville for 10 years. She adored her family and friends dearly and was a nurturing, loving mother.
Mrs. Hanley was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Bobbie W. Poole, Hattie W. Hodges, Nina W. Eubanks, Ruby W. Hartley, and Ruth W. Horn, brothers Everette Watkins and Franklin Watkins and is survived by son Billy R. Wilson, of Louisville, daughter Sandra Wilson Clarke, of Louisville, sister Frances Jones, grandchildren Ashley W. Burton (Tim), Jacquelyn Diane Wilson, Patrick S. Clarke, and Christine Clarke Judy (Mike), great-grandchildren Erin and T.J Burton, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
