Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Mr. Chester Kitchens, age 79 of Gibson, who died Tuesday October 13, 2020 in the Gibson Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday October 15, 2020 in the Sheppard memorial chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Gibson burial will follow in the Gibson Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Kitchens officiating.

Mr. Kitchens was a son of the late Harris Kitchens and Mary Nell Kitchens. Chester was a retired foreman with Jabco for over 40 years.

Chester is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Essie Lee Kitchens, sister, Elizabeth Kitchens, brother John Curtis Kitchens, and is survived by his daughter, Lora (Jackie) Stewart of Gibson, sons, Kenneth Kitchens of Gibson, Chester Kitchens Jr. of Gibson, grandson, Donny Stewart, of Stapleton,  brothers, Ralph Kitchens, James Kitchens, Windel Kitchens, sisters, Sarah Wood, Katherine Todd, Judy Lampp, Janell Higden, Linda Fulcher, Mildread Hume, & Frankie Black.

The family will receive Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home
