Carroll Cheatham Arnold

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mr. Carroll Cheatham Arnold, age 90 of Louisville, GA, who died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Jefferson Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral home with Rev. William Daniels officiating.

A native of Washington County, Carroll was the son of the late Fred Walton Arnold and Lewise Cheatham Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a jeweler and retired after 25 years as owner of Arnold Jewelers in Louisville. He was a member of Davisboro United Methodist Church, a World War II Naval Air Force Veteran, member of the Masons for 52 years, the American Legion and the American Watch Maker-Clock Maker Institute and Independent Jewelers Organization.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife of 53 years, Hope Mays Arnold of Louisville and a brother, Fred Arnold, Jr. of Eastman, GA along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask if donations can be made to the Methodist Children's Home, P.O. Box 2525, Macon, GA  31203, or Davisboro Methodist Church, P.O. Box 237, Davisboro, GA  31018.

The Arnold family will receive friends immediately following the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
