Taylor Funeral Home of Waynesboro announces the death and services of Mr. Robert Bruce Bailey, age 46 of Flowery Branch, Georgia, formally of Vidette, who died Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the Vidette Methodist Church with Rev. David Boggs officiating.  Interment will be in the Rose Due Cemetery.

A native of Burke County, Bruce was the Salutatorian of the class of 1987 at Edmund Burke Academy.  He received his BS in 1991 from Georgia Southern University where he was a Cum Laude member.  He also received his BBA in December of 2012 from Georgia Gwinnett College. Bruce was employed as a CPA with Forrestall in Buford, Georgia.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Gail Bailey, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Thomas and Mr. & Mrs. H. M. Bailey, and is survived by his parents, Jesse and June Bailey of Vidette, sister, Pam Boone of Marietta, brothers, Mack Bailey of Waynesboro, and Bill & Maianna Bailey of Waynesboro, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Vidette Methodist Church 7728 Highway 305 Louisville, GA 30434.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday.
