Brenda (Carroll) Jackson

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral service of Mrs. Brenda C. Jackson, age 71 of Wright Lane, Sandersville, Georgia who died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Washington County Extended Care Facility in Sandersville, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 5, in the Kendall Heights Church of God in Sandersville with Rev. Bobby Williford, Rev. Stacy Williford and Rev. Danny Thomas officiating. Pallbearers will be:  Phil Gonce, Mike Gonce, Rusty Martin, Ed Ramsey, Brian Dudley, A. J. Troy and Tyler Howard.

A native of Angier, NC, Brenda was a daughter of the late Loraine and Maude Dupree Carroll. She worked for J. P. Stevens/Forestman for 28 years, Walmart in Sandersville for 10 years and was a member of Kendall Heights Church of God.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Johnnie Jackson, and sister; Irma Ramsey and is survived by daughter; Teresa Reese (Dwight) of Gibson, sons; Kevin Johnson of Wilmington, NC, and Talmadge Johnson of Greenville, SC, sister; Rachael Gonce (Bobby) of Ninety-Six, SC, 4 grandchildren; Brittany Dudley (Brian) of Tennille, Tiffany Johnson of Tennille, Taylor Howard and Tyler Howard of Gibson and 2 great grandchildren; Cole Dudey and Chevi Dudley of Tennille, 4 nieces and 6 nephews.

The Jackson family will receive friend's 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
