LOUISVILLE – Mr. Bobby Daniel, 79, of Cook Street, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, in the University Hospital in Augusta.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Louisville Church of God with Rev. David Severance officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery.

Mr. Daniel was a native of Glascock County, a son of the late Aaron and Mamine Kent Daniel. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving 9 years as a Corporal and receiving many awards. He retired from Forstman/J.P. Stevens after 30 years. Bobby was the pianist for the Louisville Church of the Nazarene for 19 years and was a faithful member of Louisville Church of God where he was pianist for the past 4 years. He was known as the candyman around Louisville.

Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gregory Daniel; a stepson, Russell Lee Jones and is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Grace Wilcher Daniel; sons: Bobby Daniel, Jr. of Beech Island, SC; Gary & Debbie Daniel of Hephzibah; Randy & Jennifer Daniel  of Hawkinsonville; Jeffery Daniel of Louisville; daughter, Virginia & Greg Webb of Wrens; stepsons: Ronald L. Jones of Tennille; Allen & Donna Jones of Charlestown, WV; stepdaughter, Beverly Mosley of Louisville; 17 grandchildren and an amazing number of great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The Daniel family will receive friends 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Home.
